David and his new Baby!

Well as you can tell in the picture David FINALLY got his truck!!!! What a proud man he is with his new baby!He has been wanting to get one for the last 2 years and finally it was time.He has been driving the Honda to work and it has been falling apart. It has been a good car to us but now it is time to part ways.We have been looking for awhile and yesterday was his lucky day. While Sam was at school and Dominic was visiting with my parents, we decided to go test drive.Of course we fell in love with one.We had been looking at the Toyota Tacoma's but in the end decided on the Toyota Tundra. It has a lot more room for our family. It worked out really well for us because with the big holiday weekend approaching we were able to get a great deal.So lets see, I will try and describe what it has.White with grey interior, upgraded tires & rims, tow package, trd sports package,6 cd radio,mp3 hook up,tons of storage,4 door, lots of room for the kids with their car seats,5.7 l, v8, and lots of other neat things. It was also kinda cool that we got it yesterday because it was our 8th anniversary of the day we first meet.So Happy Anniversary David, you deserve it!!

There hasn't been to much exciting stuff happening around here.Went to a wedding on Saturday, which was a lot of fun.Trying to work in the yard, but man it has been HOT down here.Today it was 105, with that said I decided to take the kids today to the Roseville mall, to use their air conditioning. It was a lot of fun!We meet up with my friend Kim and her daughter Lexie.Sam and Lexie enjoyed walking through the mall holding hands all day long. The big high light was the Merry go round.Dominic went on it for the first time.He liked it for all about 30 seconds and then he was ready to get off.We also played in their indoor children area (for kids 6 and under). It was great, we were in the air condition mall with the kids running around playing and the best part it was free!At the end of the day, Kim treated the kids to a chocolate chip cookie.By the look of Dominics face you can see he very much enjoyed it!

Wow, that's a beautiful truck! So whats the deal with you guys always buying white cars? Is it your favorite color for a car or has it just happened to be that way with the past four cars? Anyway, congrats! Can't wait to take a ride it in one of these days.

Wow.....what a truck! It's really nice. Yeah....what is the deal with you always buying white cars? I guess white is a pretty classy color. It looks good on just about every vehicle. Cute pictures of Sam and Dom at the mall. Me likes me chocolate chip cookies, too.

Thats too funny that you guys commented on the white cars. When we went to the dealership, we said white was one of our least favorites, just because we have had so many through the years.David REALLY wanted silver but of course they didnt have any.Due to the fact that these are the 2007, the choices are getting limited. The only one they had other than white was black. It wouldnt habe been too bad but the interior was UGLY,poopie orange. We do like white though, we think it is classy, doesnt show dirt or scratches as bad,and good for resale.I guess white cars are just in or blood. Its ok though, I told David I will make sure my BMW is not white!Yes, thats just me dreaming!

OK, we are jealous! We want a Toyota truck too! The bad part is you may be getting calls from us asking if we can borrow it on occasion. Of course, we will wait a bit until its not so new:) Congrats. Nice that the whole family can fit inside. You HAVE to drive it over on Labor Day and show off!

David Here....
White was my #2 choice to Silver. The dealership really wanted to make a sell, so they offered me a white truck they did have on the lot, that had lots more upgrades for only $900 more. I thought it was such a good deal that I sacrificed the silver for the white.
Now I have to save my pennies so I can add the things I need for it (bed liner, bed cover etc)
I am pretty happy with it. I just hope it lasts us a good 10 years or so.

David and that truck go together like peanut butter and jelly. It fits him. It looks awesome-congratulations! Sam looks like a cute little mommy in that picture. I bet she takes good care of Dominic.

I think that you just bought Thayne's dream truck! He is going to have to just keep dreaming for a couple more years. It looks beautiful, and BTW I love the white. Next time we come down we'll have to hit the Roseville mall. It looks like a nice one.

One word comes to mind when I look at that gorgeous piece of machinery...OVERTIME!!

Beautiful truck, folks! It's the exact truck I would have purchased if I had the dinero...I can just picture Annie with her head out the partially-rolled-down window as your cruise EG blvd...
